Welcome to Dig Diaries

Welcome to DigDiaries, the archaeological fieldwork blog for the Anthropology Dept. University of Auckland. Over the next few months we plan to add blogs that describe the day-to-day activities in the different archaeological field projects run through the Anthropology Dept. at Auckland.

Our first blog will be from the Fayum in Egypt where our fieldwork begins November 18. A group of eight staff and students from Auckland will be working on ancient Neolithic remains.

Please follow our blog and learn about our exciting research. You will get a taste of what life is like on an archaeological project and project members will be able to answer your questions.
